Tattoo Removal ~ Less Pain, Less Treatments, Less Time!
We're now able to remove multi-colored tattoos on different skin types with Tattoo Undo! Our state-of-the-art laser technology by PicoWay®, utilizes unique picosecond laser technology to deliver fast, comfortable treatments. Unlike traditional lasers used in removing tattoos, our new technology delivers energy to the targeted ink in ultra-short pulses that are so fast, they’re measured in picoseconds — or one trillionth of a second! These pulses shatter the tattoo into very tiny particles, which are then easily eliminated by the body’s natural processes. Our new laser technology emits less heat energy than traditional lasers providing a safer, more comfortable treatment for ALL skin types, with fewer side effects.
Why Is Tattoo Removal Difficult?
There are 4 main reasons for difficult removal of tattoos:
- Depth of the ink. Because ink is injected to the dermis layer of the skin, it is more difficult to remove.
- Ink particle size. Oftentimes, during traditional laser removal, some ink particles would remained as they were larger in size - even after multiple treatments. Our new technology is more efficient on breaking up particles.
- Color. Blue and black inks are more easily treated. Our new technology allows us to remove all colors of ink more effectively.
- Skin tone. The technology we are able to use now is safe and gentle on all skin tones - including darker skin tones which were more susceptible to problems during tattoo removal.
Picoway® Laser Technology For Tattoo Removal
How it works: Our new technology selectively treats the tattoo while leaving surrounding skin undamaged. Less heat is generated with the ultra-high speed laser we use than with traditional lasers which leads to a safer treatment with fewer side effects.
What to expect: Before the procedure, a numbing agent is applied to the target area. During the treatment the hand piece delivers energy with an extremely precise, high-power laser in extremely short pulses to target ink particles with great impact. These pulses shatter the tattoo ink into minuscule particles. Also, after treatments, patients may experience temporary discoloration or reddening of the skin around the treatment site. Some patients may also experience a temporary lightening of the skin following treatment. The skin will typically resolve to a normal skin tone.
